PvP in Dune: Awakening – Is Solari the Real Advantage? - jornw - 09-26-2025 09:33 AM

Hey all,

I’ve been in some heated PvP fights lately in Dune: Awakening, and it’s made me realize just how much of an edge better gear (and by extension, more Solari) gives you. I used to think it was all about skill and positioning — and don’t get me wrong, those matter — but when the other guy shows up in fully modded armor with top-tier weapons, it’s game over.

Most of that high-end gear comes from grinding or crafting — both of which cost a ton of Solari. The game’s economy is tightly wound, and unless you’re running spice convoys daily or dominating trade hubs, you’re probably strapped for cash like I am.

Some of my clanmates recently started using U4GM to grab a few thousand Solari to stay competitive. I asked them about it and apparently, the process is quick and they didn’t run into any issues. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet, but I’m honestly considering it. I’ve been getting stomped in skirmishes, and I’m falling behind in upgrades just because I can’t farm as much.

Curious — is anyone else here supplementing their in-game grind with outside help? Is it worth it long-term? Or do you think the devs will eventually balance things out so it’s more skill-based again?

I’m trying to stay on the level here — not looking to pay-to-win, just trying to keep up. Would love to hear your stories — especially from PvP-heavy players.

Let the spice (and Solari) flow — see you in the dunes.
