I decided to revive my old work PC over the weekend, but it wouldn't start up. When I pressed the power button, there was just a quiet click, followed by silence. It has a Delta DPS-180AB power supply inside. I took it apart and found no visibly swollen capacitors, but the output on the 12V line is zero. It’s a shame to throw away a Delta brand power supply since they’re usually very reliable. Perhaps someone has already worked with this model and knows about its "teething problems"? I’m afraid to touch the live components without a schematic so that I don't get zapped by the input voltage.

Also, is it worth spending time repairing a PSU of this capacity? Might there be some specific control chips that are no longer available on the market? I’d like to find the detailed component specifications to check the resistor values in the SHIM controller circuit. Some of the resistors look discolored from overheating. Where do you usually look for technical documentation on such specific hardware?
Hi, have you measured the voltage on the +5VSB line yet? Is there no signal there either? Delta makes high-quality circuit boards, so the problem may lie in small details, such as a blown diode or failed optocoupler in the feedback loop. I usually get the documentation from manualmachine.com . I work at a service center that repairs office equipment, and we regularly deal with these power supplies because they’re often found in HP or Dell systems. Just last week, I looked there for the pinout of the connectors for a similar module because the contact pitch is sometimes non-standard.
